½ cup salted dry-roasted peanuts
½ cup roasted sunflower seeds or other nut
½ cup raisins or other dried fruit
2 cups uncooked oatmeal, old fashioned or instant
2 cups toasted rice cereal, such as Rice Krispies
½ cup peanut butter
½ cup packed brown sugar
½ cup light corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
- In large bowl, mix peanuts, sunflower seeds, raisins, oatmeal and toasted rice cereal. Set aside.
- In medium microwaveable bowl, combine peanut butter, brown sugar and corn syrup. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Add vanilla and stir until blended.
- Pour peanut butter mixture over dry ingredients and stir until coated. Spoon into 9”x13” pan. Press down firmly (coat hands with cooking spray or oil). Let stand for 1 hour, cut into 16 bars.
